The Air-Ion Counter “Sapphire-3K” is intended for concurrent measuring of light air ions concentration of both polarities. The counter is useful in microelectronic industry (“clean room” equipment), in computer rooms, computing centres, in textile industry, printing industry, to help ensure normal conditions of human operation in artificial microclimate.
Indications of the counter are temperature- and humidity-independent. The counter is capable of concurrent counting of ions of both polarities. This capability is key for objective assessment of indoor air ionization.
Indications appear at the screen almost immediately, withing several seconds. This is very helpful when adjusting air ionizers - no need to wait for 10-15 minutes.
The counter’s indicator is large enough, well suited for stationary use. The counter is fully automatic. Counter fully complies with the specifications, it is recommended for professional use.
Remember: we don’t measure air conductivity, thus indirectly calculating ionic formula, - we count ions. That’s why the validity of our measurements is unrivalled.
The counter can be supplied with the battery, however, it is desirable to ground the cabinet of the counter. Thus, the need for battery seems vanishing.
It is possible to add an interface for connecting the counter to a PC.
The counter is very handy in setting up air ionizers of nearly all types; the upper LIMIT of measured ionization is 2.5 millions of air ions per cubic centimetre!
