 The majority of enterprises have been installing PCs, conditioners, make use of synthetics in decorating interior order to keep up with the modern tendencies. This leads to formation of electrostatic fields and deionization of air, to electric air imbalance. People which are long taking place in such premise, frequently feel of discomfort, closeness, weariness and decrease in concentration of attention. Under influence of conditioners and monitors easy ions can fall till 20-50, and heavy - to increase up to tens thousand in 1 cm3. Medical scientific works have proved conclusive advantages of favorable influence of the charged ions:
- improvement of a psychological and physical condition;
- increase in resistibility to diseases;
- decrease in quantity of bacteria in a premise;
- clarification of air from the weighed micro particles;
- easing of the effect caused by a static electricity. Everybody staying indoors for a long time, used to feeling weary, stuffy, their attention gradually become relaxed. The reason lies in imbalance of light particles-positively and negatively charged ions. The concentration of light ions indoors falls to 20-50 per cubic centimeter, and at the same time the concentration of heavy air ions (mostly dust particles) rises to tens of a thousand in the same volume. These are effects of air conditioning and computer monitors. Medical investigations have proved beneficial influence of the light charged ions on:
- Psychological and physical condition of a person
- Tolerance to diseases of a person
- Maintaining antiseptic conditions indoors
- Air-cleaning - ionization helps reduce concentration of weighed airborne micro-particles (heavy air ions)
- Reducing effects caused by static electricity To keep up with sanitary regulations, it is necessary to install ionizers at the workplaces. Unfortunately, enterprise officials generally ignore the recommendations of sanitary-epidemiological organizations.
Investigations of air ionization and measurement have been developing in KSTU (Kazan State Technical University) since 1966 in KSTU n.a. A.N. Tupolev. Works were conducted basically by the Ministry of Defense. In 70th the system of air ionization was established on the space station "Salyut-6" (System "Svezhest-2") Wide application of this engineering in civil area has begun since 1996 along with initial introduction of sanitary regulations in housings with displays. The counter of air ions was developed Sapphire-3K on the basis of counter military counter "Yantar-3".
Now the update for "Sapphire - 3K" is being prepared, it is included in the State register. Our organization has a license of Russian GOST to manufacture, repair and sale counters "Sapphire-3K". In 1999 our organization developed the air ionizer Sapphire-4A. It s developed with the sanitary norms in mind.
